    What a crafty and solid debut from David Lynch. I get it now why he said that this is his most spiritual film. Even with all the "out of this world" experience, the core of the story still feels very down to earth and personal.

    Atmospherically haunting, and visually stunning, Mirror uses that and the beauty of shooting in 35mm to creep the horror under your skin slowly, complete with a powerhouse performance from Nirina Zubir.

    Too bad the last half of the movie relies on the romance more instead the psychology of the main character, which maybe will make a stronger arc for the movie. And instead of a romantic one, the chemistry didn't really do well so it's kinda cringey to look at.
