The world is better in motion.
Felt like a pretty generic spy movie without many unpredictable turns in the narrative, but the way the film was scored - or lack there of - was intriguing. The creators decided that many of the fights scenes did not need music or lots of cutting to be intense: they allowed the fight choreography to be masterful on its own.
To me, that was one of the few things this movie did well. Wouldn’t rank high on the recommendation list.
Whatever your thoughts are on this movie, you have to admit Christian filmmaking is making some progress in terms of quality films, and it’s being led by the Erwin brothers.
The beginning was a little rough (and probably one of the only reasons it isn’t 5-stars). The pacing of the dialogue, the editing, and the camera work all could have been better, and honestly after watching the whole movie, I feel like the first 15-20min could’ve been omitted.
