    Gotta be honest, this “review” is as much, if not more, about the response to American Sniper as it is about the film itself so if that's not your bag, peace out. I'm assuming you've seen the film.

    I believe deeply in the potential for positive change and in art's ability to help enact it, but American Sniper isn't doing that. This fine film expresses subtle, studious ambivalence about its subject Chris Kyle, the war, and Kyle's relation to it.…
