Do you remember the first time you watched mama mia and how much you laughed and maybe even jived along no pun intended. This one is just as fun and colourful and whisks you away to a world full of dreams and sunshine filled happiness. I was surprised how the story was unfolding and I hate to say it I was just a little bit underwhelmed perhaps but not enough for me to dismiss the entire film. I felt like there could have been more character development especially to cement the emotions. Lily James is a joy to watch on screen she really made each scene better than the one before. The energy of the songs were always on point never boring or flat. Sequels are hard to do but for what's worth it was fun to watch this world of dancing and fireworks on the big screen again.
