Eddie Murphy is back, and his charisma is just such a motor for this biopic/industry success story. Craig Brewer is a solid filmmaker, who has always made solid films (Hustle & Flow, Black Snake Moan), but this may be his best film for the goldmine that is Eddie Murphy as Dolemite.

The whole cast is spectacular, from Wesley Snipes, Keegan-Michael Key, Craig Robinson, Tituss Burgess, Mike Epps, and the new-to-me Da'Vine Joy Randolph.

Just a fun Friday night.
