Dalton’s review published on Letterboxd:
It's just a movie that has a lot to say about life. It's depressing, it's bleak, it's heartbreaking, and you just can really feel it, there's few movies you can really feel. I'm not sure I've ever FELT a movie like this before. But with an open ending like it had we can assume there is still hope for Llewyn, he's an amazing artist, but he just can't seem to get through this thing called life. He's lost, he's got nowhere to live, he's emotionally unstable, he's repeating the same week over and over again. He can't dig himself out of life and I feel we all have moments in our life like this, where we feel we can't get out no matter how hard we try. Inside Llewyn Davis explores so many ideas, it's hard to talk about them all, it's just so beautiful, everything about it.
It's hard to put it into words what I just watched, but I tried. Masterpiece.
