Since I like time loop stories, when I found out this movie is a timeloop and starring Sam Claflin, I checked it out. I was disapppointed because the timeloop or parallel timeline is just not utilized very well and I didn't click with the comedy.
It was pretty popular a couple of months ago but I didn't watch it right away since I don't gravitate towards action movie usually. Finally tried watching it and it's okay. Enjoyable enough, but not memorable for me. I like the immortal aspect of it, but without that, it's just a regular action movie.
This movie is the cringiest, cheesiest, most barf-inducing romance movie I have ever seen in my entire life. The dialogue is so awkward and cheesy and basically my entire facial expression throughout the whole movie is just different variations of errgh and ew.
I have to be honest though, this movie is loads better to watch when you're watching it with a couple of girlfriends and just laughing at the cheesy parts. The beginning through the middle is the worst…
This movie stresses me out so much I can't stop thinking about it even until today. The premise itself to me is not that original, but the production quality is one of the best I've seen in a horror movie. The acting from everyone is absolutely brilliant and the sound design is so so good and spot-on.
