Finally a R rated horror film with some blood! (Yes Most pg-13 horror films are corny). And I say film because this doesn’t not feel like a YouTube movie or a straight to Netflix movie. It’s actually very well put together. The aesthetics/coloring of the sets combined with the film style/directing just works. The acting and editing is strong from start to finish. Nicholas Cage is a solid Dracula and everybody else held there own- no weak characters. Definitely one of the better films of 2023- recommend. I only deduct a star because I believe SOME of the CGI and blood in the fighting scenes looked unrealistic at times. Also the fighting choreography seemed stiff at times.
