“Did he just throw my cat out of the window?” 

This was my introduction to Wes Anderson’s filmography and I have to say I’m impressed... although also a bit disappointed I didn’t enjoy this more. You can’t question the artistic style, cinematography and brilliant performances (specifically Ralph Fiennes) of this film but I sadly wasn’t as engaged with the plot. I think this stems from me not really caring for the main character at all. Nevertheless it’s still a good film.
