What is it with Ryan Gosling and starring in really good looking movies?
Drive is a pretty good film following Ryan Gosling, a stunt driver, getaway driver and mechanic. He's a man of few words and bad taste in jackets. He appears detached and remote until he meets his neighbour and her son - whose father is later released from prison. This sends Gosling, who isn't named, on an exciting and tense plot.
This film is incredibly good looking. The effects don't look CGI'd at all (and if they are I don't want to know). It's a stylistic thrill ride and I'd recommend it to pretty much anyone. It does feel a little rushed though, it could have easily made it to 2 hours or more and would likely have been a better film as a result.
