Task 46. Rewatch
Back to the Future: Cube Edition!
Not great, but I don't hate it. It's the same concept, only this time instead of having the cool industrial feel to everything, they're stuck in a futuristic cube where every cube is brightly lit and the traps tend to be mind-warping and tesseract-based. It sounds cool at first but eventually I just wanted to see somone's face melt off rather than all the dimensional science craziness that I don't understand. They tell us a good bit more of what the motivation/backstory might be, but I dunno, I kinda liked being in the dark in the first film. A couple of the characters are a bit more annoying in this one too which doesn't help. But overall, I love the franchise, so I can't not like it!
