Wilson’s review published on Letterboxd:
To Catch A Thief may be one of the weakest of Hitchcock's 1950s films, but it is still really good time. Cary Grant is effortless, his non-reaction reactions, the very slight smile, are the stuff of movie stardom. Grace Kelly is radiant and again shows that her retirement at such a young age was one of the great losses to cinema. Kelly is quite brilliant in this film and no-one looked more like a movie star than she did.
My one enduring complaint for To Catch A Thief is how long Hitchcock takes to introduce her into the plot, however once she arrives the film definitely upticks a good bit.
The film is a frippery, but I have never enjoyed as much before as I did today. Playful fun.
