Daniel Johnson’s review published on Letterboxd:
So happy to report that Glass Onion is an absolute blast from start to finish. It reveals its layers at just the right moments in ways that are both very intelligent but also very, very funny. You can look at certain scenes multiple different ways, sometimes with the help of the film, and all of them still manage to be funny even with their new layers. Brilliant, funny stuff. And the whole cast is funny too. It brought me great joy to see my two loves, Dave Bautista and Jessica Henwick, given a lot of silly stuff to do, of course, Daniel Craig is a joy once again, but Janelle Monáe nearly runs away with the thing. What a great role. What a fun movie.
Note: The packed house roared with laughter, applause, shrieks, “oohs,” and even “ahhs.” It was one of those magical theater experiences that makes me fall in love with cinema all over again. And I’m so glad it’s only playing in just 600 screens in the country for less than a week. Eat shit Sarandos.
