    Captain Phillips

I knew how this would end, but to begin with i didn't care, throughout the movie i had forgotten and was so tense! Everything feels so real, its raw, focused, without melodrama, full off bravery and powerful acting.

Just when i thought Tom Hanks had show me everything he got, he proves me wrong, this is one of his greatest! Right from the start, through a very simple conversation with his wife, you believe him in…

    They Call Me Trinity

The Greatest from one of the greatest duo acts in Cinema, Terence Hill and Bud Spencer.

This movie was a big part of my childhood, i watched it so many times, that i suspect it was a big reason i learned English young. The perfect chemistry between Spencer and Hill, the charm, the humor and maximum volume on the punching sound effects, makes this such an entertaining rewatch.

Bud Spencer, was one off my heroes as a child, an imperfect…

  • Ponyo

I might be to old for this movie.

I have always been very late, when it comes to Miyazaki, which makes a difference. To see this as a kid would be great, filled with childlike Wonder, as a 26 year old, its very beautiful and not much more.

This is probably the most unscary Miyazaki movie, therefore it can be a great introduction to his films, especially for young kids.

A beautiful and simple movie, that will empower the imagination in kids.

    Rocco and His Brothers

Wow, this movie is a rollercoaster of emotions!

I can't say this is a joy to watch, its a patient watch, but it will drawn you in with its beauty! So much passion! Some truly horrible things happen in this, in some ways it reminded me of Irréversible (Directed by Gaspar Noé) and that might be the most disturbing film ever.

If you like James Dean and a young Marlon Brando, here you can have the Italian versions! Alain Delon/James…

    Some Like It Hot

My Favorite from one of the all-time greatest, Billy Wilder.

This movie is a perfect piece of movie history, a brilliant script, great acting, hilarious comedy, never again matched charm and an amazing mix of comedy and gangster genre.

Jack Lemmon, as you can also witness in The Apartment, Jack Lemmon is the number one line deliver, in all off movie history! Every line, mimic, reaction, look and dansemove from him in this, is perfect! Not a single moment from…

    Gangster Squad

    Okay, this was bad!

The style off this is just confusing, so much light and color!! It literally hurts my eyes, like when i watched Alice through the looking class. The characters are just so boring, they try to make them interesting with family, pride and morals, but my god it feels fake!!

Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone has no chemistry in this, what happened with the great chemistry from La la Land and Crazy Stupid love? I didn't care…

  • Watership Down

    Watership Down

That was scary and weird! If i was a kid.... or high... this would have killed me!

I have never seen this as a kid, but i have heard people talk about this as one off their first scary movies. Who would show this to kids under 11? But after that its actually a great movie, about the evils of the world, told through the life's off rabbits.

    Great, not amazing.

  • The Road to El Dorado

    The Road to El Dorado

How was this the first DreamWorks box office failure?!?!?

This is a not a great movie, but its a very entertaining movie, i have watched it so many times, as a kid and as an adult and I still laugh.

As an adult i have seen The man Who would be King, with Sean Connery and Michael Caine, the movie this is based on, good movie, but I am much more likely to rewatch this.

Funny fact: Tulio and Miguel, could have been Jim Carrey and Antonio Banderes, that would have been....... different.

  • Gone Baby Gone

    Gone Baby Gone

A great first time director Movie

Ben Afflecks first time ever movie as a director, is great thriller! This movie made me my skin crawl, my hands was making fist and my brain was activated!

It looks great, with a great cast! Casey Affleck has his very own style, Ed Harris is great in everything, Morgan Freeman makes it look easy and Amy Ryan is one of the most underrated actresses in Hollywood.

The themes in this are sometimes to much to ever handle, you will be presented a lot off problems and questions, but don't expect any answers.

  • The Theory of Everything

    The Theory of Everything

My family has wanted me to watch this, for so long! They told me it was good, they never described it very much, they just said: watch it, its cute! Now that i finally watched it, i can finally say: its okay.

Everything is just so bright, like they wants us to feel so uplifted by how beautiful life is and how strong Stephen Hawking is, but they just overdue it way to much!! It starts feeling…

  • Invincible

I have a soft spot for a good sports movie!

I have always loved movies like The mighty ducks, Rudy, Remember the Titans, Coach Carter, Invictus and even movies like The Longest Yard with Adam Sandler. Team movies, about being strong for you're team and fighting for something.

For me sport has always been a beautiful thing, where people can show strong character, thousands of people standing together, cheering together and fighting together, WITHOUT HATE!!

    But modern sport has lost…

Wow, this is stupid! But also amazing
