    Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse

    ★★★½

Let me be certainly not the first to lament, why couldn't they get Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst to reprise their roles!? I really like how this film ties into the Raimi trilogy (I will forever be team Maguire when it comes to Spider-Man. "Punch me I bleed"), and if they had gotten those actors it would have been a wonderful treat. The Wicker Man

    ★★★★½

I saw the trailer for this when I went and saw Midsommar and I was like "man, I gotta watch this movie," then I watched it and it was terrific. I love not being let down.

Inevitable but never uninteresting, The Wicker Man follows uptight Police Sergeant Howie (Edward Woodward) as he investigates the disappearance of a young girl on a pastoral Scotland island village. During his investigation he goes toe to toe with the island’s leader, Lord Summerisle (Christopher…
