As this film is so current, I feel like I do not have anything to add to the discussion going on around it. I am still trying to sort my brain around its message and the way it plays out.
I will say that the film is terrific and keeps its unsettling tone throughout. It is not as much scary as it is deeply disturbing and for that it deserves all the praise it is getting.
Peele has once again shown himself to be a class artist and he revels in how fun the callbacks and tropes of this style of film can be used. As a film lover, seeing him work like this is thrilling.
