ugh I was planning on listening to IFHY by tyler the creator and punching a hole in my bedroom wall but now I can’t because this movie made it corny

I keep rewatching this thinking it might be amazing... Well, at least I got the worst one out of the way! It’s only amazing Star Wars content from here!

samara weaving kinda gave the best performance of the year with this

im so mad i didnt see this earlier because it truly is one of the best movies of the year. the story is a unique take on the murder mystery/whodunnit genre with characters who enhance the experience; not because of the star-studded cast (although that’s definitely a plus), but because of their ingenious dialogue and diverse personalities. i was pleasantly surprised to see how much larger ana de armass’ role was than the trailers lead me to believe !!

rian johnson created a masterpiece tbh. whatever your thoughts are on the last jedi, it seems impossible to call him a “bad writer” after seeing this.

Finally watched this because all Megan does is hype it up and uhhhhhh damn. No wonder she hypes it, my brain is literally spinning after that !!

I love whodunit murder mysteries involving rich people in big houses !! It could be my favourite genre if people could just do it right! This film should be the standard for all murder mystery movies, it should be what they all strive to achieve. Knives Out perfectly mixes the tension and suspense of a good mystery with the campiness of the whodunit premise and it’s astounding. This movie is a lot of fun to watch but still has all the precise conventions of a good quality film. I loved it much more than I expected to !!

real ones knew me in my miles teller phase (...i know) and would be aware that i used to watch this all the time. it’s a lot worse than I remember yikes!
