So I have to say I had to wait forever to finally watch this one. I watched through the whole series last year and had a pretty great time with it. So when I heard there was going to be one more film I was really excited to see how they would top off the last one. I really did have to wait to hear about anything for this one and when I was wondering when is it coming to the states In about august I saw it had an April release…… It kinda sucks living in a town where I can’t get anime films easily. So I looked for fan subs or anything just to watch it and I had zero luck here. Then around late September an anime news thing told this was coming out in October 13th on Netflix so I was super giddy to watch this. Now we are here.
I really don’t know what to write, because I’m still crying by how impactful this film was. The story, cinematography and just how nice this was made this an experience worth having. The final 30 minutes had me crying so hard and I haven’t felt this emotional about a film in forever. I can’t wait to watch this again.
Also the pacing was something that kinda scared me with it being 2 hours and 20 mins but honestly this was perfectly paced and I never felt like it dragged. The way each shot was framed was beautiful.
I loved this so much there. I can’t even think straight right now. This is a masterpiece.
