No one does awkward comedy like Julia Louis-Dreyfus and that scene where she mangles “Rise Up” with lines like “pretty Jewish feet” had me on the floor.
Sure Eddie phones it in, but his scenes with Jonah are fun and uncomfortable to watch.
No new ground is tread here with this comedic version of Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner and while the ending is a bit rushed and unconvincing, it’s still a fun film.
Extra star for all the cameos by 1970’s character actors during the Skirball Center scene.Fun Facts:

“Please don’t say mouthfeel.”
Tonally speaking, this movie was all over the place. Story wise, it would have been nice to know more backstory about Crazy Chef Boyardee and his mama.
That said, a fun and intense thriller/comedy/horror flick that pokes fun at the culinary set and the pretentious Richy Riches who are attracted to it.
