David Cuevas’s review published on Letterboxd:
Mia Hansen-Løve is basically roasting cinephiles in this movie, at what is arguably the most prestigious film festival in the world. Now THAT'S something I'm all for. ENCORE!
Cute vibe piece overall. The debussy screen felt like an IMAX. A bit on the longer side and the pacing can be hit or miss, but as a contemplative work that demonstrates the trials and tribulations of the creative process, I found it to be a refreshing change of pace for a pretty intense day at the movies. Once again, Vicky Krieps finds herself vibing on an island. Only this time, she isn't rapidly ageing to death! Good for her!
