Finally. A Marvel Cinematic Universe Film that criticizes the acts of technological innovation for leisure, made by Tony Stark
Consider me surprised! Just as fun and enthralling as Homecoming, and just as adventurous and rambunctious as the previous entries in the MCU, Spider-Man: Far From Home is a deeply hilarious and enjoyable time to be had at the movies. Jake Gyllenhaal was easily the best part of this film, with the other performances also remaining quite strong. This easily has the best Marvel villain in any MCU film. I especially adored that monologue in the second act. Sure it's clunky, and it sometimes feels strangely paced, but the humor and heart of Jon Watts direction is refreshingly inspiring. From the visuals to the quipy script, there's not much harm in paying the price of a general admission ticket to see the latest entry in the MCU franchise.
