oh, there's nothing better than movies about food and how cooking is an act of kindness and affection. the last scene is one of the most beautiful things i've ever seen: nobody barely said a word, and yet we feel the tenderness and love that was in that kitchen. and also, i can't die before i eat an authentic italian timpano.
