David’s review published on Letterboxd:
Hadn't seen this since it was out in theaters, and it's still just as fun and charming as it was then. I love the comedy style of the MCU Spider-Man movies; it's really awkward and kind of uncomfortable, which is a pretty good representation of Gen-z humor. I think that's probably the thing I love most about these movies. Also, the illusion sequence is one of the coolest things the MCU has pulled off, both visually and conceptually, and I really hope we see more things as interesting as that in upcoming films. Anyway, this is tons of fun. Jake Gyllenhaal hamming it up steals the show.
