Stunningly beautiful animation and a touching story of the acceptance of death and growing up. Definitely more of an animated film for adults, this is one of my favorite films of 2016.

A weird and magical tale of friendship and loneliness. It can heartbreaking and a truly touching movie (no pun intended, once you see it) that'll have you singing along to the fantastic Manchester Orchestra score. This is the feel good movie of the year.

Holy shit. I haven't sat through this much tension, dread and terror in a very long time. The authenticity of the scenery is astounding. The ambiguity and blending of its themes is enthralling. And this movie is definitely pro-Satan. "Let me guide thy hand." I can't recommend this film enough but I will tell you that although you won't need a strong stomach, you will need thick skin and an unflinching nerve to make it to the horrifying end.

Making a time travel movie is extremely difficult. Keeping all of the physics and science straight is key to keeping the story straight. Predestination is a good example of a recent film that tackles time travel in the proper way while telling a good story.

Unfortunately, this film does not. It's sloppy and not well acted. Although my boy AJ Bowen is in it. The time travel concepts are a little too confusing while adding in a love story that…

What the assssssss?! Extreme violence. Extreme language. Extreme sex. Extreme nudity. Extreme hilarity. Extreme 4th wall breaking. Quite possibly the best comic book adaptation yet. Deadpool 4 life.

I looooooove movies about Hollywood. Especially classic Hollywood. LA Confidential. The Player. The Holiday (don't ask) and now Hail, Caesar. Definitely worth the ticket price.

I'm a huge fan of slow burn horror/thrillers. HOUSE OF THE DEVIL is a good example of this or ROSEMARY'S BABY. Honestly I knew little to nothing about this film heading into it other than some of the cast members. But HOLY SHIT did I have to white knuckle it all the way through. By the time of the big payoff I was so on edge that the turning point of the story left me on my ass. Truly great indie thriller that I'll be marketing the shit out of when we play it at the Drafthouse.

What a sweet, heart warming and sincere movie. Other than Benecio Del Toro's performance in SICARIO, Mark Ruffalo as the manic-depressive Cam is my favorite performance of the year.

Could this be my favorite Tarantino film?! Is Walton Goggins going to get ALL of the acting offers after people see this stupid awesome performance?!?! Did the amount of violence make me gasp?! These questions are all answered with a resounding YES! Holy shit this movie rocked.
