My soon to be eight year old son dreaded the spider sequence but in the end he loved it and said it wasn’t that scary. And so far it’s his favorite Harry Potter movie.

65 2023
An astronaut crash land on planet earth 65 million years ago and we all know what kind of creatures that lived there then…
65 is a fast-paced and action-packed dinosaur science fiction action that’s not 150 minutes long but clocks in at a perfect 90 minutes. Adam Driver is good but the little girl is pretty unnecessary and doesn’t add much to the story. It’s enough with his longing for his own sick daughter. Other than that, 65 gets the job done and is a decent popcorn movie.

Eden Lake 2008
My wife has two all-time favorite movies. One of them is Gone with the Wind, the other one is Eden Lake. Today we revisited it on blu-ray for the first time. It's a punch in the face, a harsh and violent nightmare and one of the most effective thrillers of recent years! British-white-trash-surburban-forest-survival-horror at it's finest! Truly disturbing.
I never thought about it before but Eden Lake is almost The Last House on the Left in reverse.
