    “For Wes”

    Scream honours Wes Craven’s legacy with a sharp, smart, funny ‘re-quel’, that in my opinion is the best since the original. The movie uses the meta humour the franchise was built on, to poke fun at Hollywood’s legacy sequels. Although they play this sequel close to the original (think The Force Awakens), it’s creative enough to make the movie feel fresh and bring the franchise into the modern era.

    “Nothing’s been the same since New York.”

    Shane Black crafts one of the most unique MCU entries and superhero movies to date with a fresh, funny and dark when it needs to be. Their is a Lethal Weapon vibe to the movie with a detective story, set at Christmas time and a Tony Stark dealing with PTSD after the events of The Avengers, which they handle brilliantly.
