*Review of the Director's Cut*
I'm so happy this was released. It truly was like watching this again for the first time, except I was prepared and ready for a better understanding this time around. When the added scenes started coming in force (around the middle) I was surprised at how excited I got. I shot up in my seat when an entirely new scene began that was not even hinted at in the original cut. I was also shocked at how much depth was added by even just a line here or there. Plus new angles and camera placements were incorporated into scenes that made this truly feel special and somehow even an improvement on what I already considered to be perfect.
This movie is something to be experienced, especially right now. And this Director's Cut is for all the people the film struck a chord with.
Not my most articulate review, but damn this movie was long, and it is quite late. However, it was more than worth it.
