you’re trying to tell me this was a $200 million movie and not a disney tv movie special?
no, absolutely not. nope.
i love movies.
I’d love to understand one some day.
no but really, this just isn’t my type of movie. and i don’t want to sit here and say i was “too stupid” to understand it. maybe the book would’ve helped me understand it more, but what i witnessed in this movie was just randomness. i was following along with what the movie was trying to say at some points but at one point, it just becomes random shit that…
ok the tenet/inversion stuff is confusing in itself, but could’ve been so much easier to digest if the rest of the movie wasn’t EQUALLY as confusing. i was so lost for the first like hour and i eventually just gave in like “ok yeah we’re here now, idk why or for what but ok let’s do it”
but the whole spectacle of this movie, the inversion, is all done so well and it’s so marvelous to experience. maybe i’ll enjoy…
this is still the only movie i’ve ever seen in theaters alone and all i could think about is how much i miss going to a movie theater and my return is going to be Tenet, another christopher nolan movie, but i don’t even know when that will be because my state is full of ignorant people and we’re one of the worst when it comes to confirmed COVID cases so there is no hope in sight and i’m so sad, just like the video messages scene.
