Part of the 31 Days of Horror

"28 days, 6 hours, 14 minutes, 12 seconds. That's when the world will end."

I normally wouldn't consider this a horror film but the girls I was watching this with seemed to find it pretty scary so, what the hell, I'll add it to my list. This is one of those films that is made so much better by repeat viewings. It can be a little confusing on a first watch and there are some many hints that the director gives to help explain the film that are easy to miss the first time through. But once you start to piece everything together, Donnie Darko becomes a very enjoyable film.

Also, fun fact: both the movies I watched today feature clips from The Evil Dead. That was not intentional.
