I was very surprised to see everyone hating on this here because I thought this was phenomenal and sometimes I think the message of a movie matters more than editing or if u think an actor was underused but this is letterboxd so I shouldn’t expect critical thinking skills

I'm not sure if I chose to watch this movie at the perfect time or the worst time. My chest hurts a lot after watching this.
This movie felt all too real and personal and for a moment I contemplated whether Greta Gerwig somehow had secretly known how my senior year of high school was going to go, made a movie about it, and then some divine power made sure I didn't watch this until the right time.
