This movie is perfect
This shit should have won like three Oscars and it got nominated for none. Toni Collete is majesterial and haunting, the kid actors are creepy as hell, and the cinematography is unlike anything I've seen in a horror movie. Deliberate and tension building with almost no jump-scare payoff. Uses gratuitous violence to amplify great performances, but it's still the slightest bit gratuitous. I've never been so happy about being so uncomfortable.
