Dempsey Pillot’s review published on Letterboxd:
The rare coming-of-age story that captures all of the bottled up ambition, anxiety, and uncertainty young adults frequently battle, but rarely talk about.
Renate Reinsve is far from the worst though, delivering one of the most charmingly relatable (and awards-worthy) performances I’ve seen in a long time.
My favorite thing about the film, however, is the title and its many possible meanings. Is our protagonist so bad for being so indecisive? Or could the people she falls for be “the worst” because of all the power she gives them over her?
An onion of a film that I cannot wait to dissect for years to come.
