One hell of an unfortunate 35mm screening. One of the projectors was down so after an extra 45 minutes spent waiting for the show to get started, we were treated to a 5 minute break between reels. not an ideal way to watch a movie. Despite these tragic circumstances I still enjoyed the hell out of Wild at Heart. My first viewing of this was on VHS so this was a substantial improvement in visual quality.

Nicholas Cage and Laura Dern are perfect together. Their manic performances are at home in Lynch's surreality. I will always treasure Willem Dafoe's Bobby Peru.
