Derek’s review published on Letterboxd:
For as much as Aster loves his slow cinema from the likes of someone like Bergman, I am so glad he uses genre to push his personal feelings through it and that it works extremely well. Feels very entertaining while not diluting anything he wants to thematically share.
My most uncomfortable theater experience. I loved every second of unease and dread I had.
Modern classic. Will go alongside all the other greatest horror movies.
Colin Stetson’s soundtrack was perfectly composed for this film.
