    I know absolutely nothing about NFL or the NFL draft and I had a blast with this. A tightly paced knockout that, aside from a couple cheesy scenes, I almost enjoyed as much as Moneyball. I bring up this counterpart as if you loved that movie, you’ll enjoy this Moneyball but with football premise.

    Also Costner is great and Chadwick Bozeman shows why he was one of the greats while only being in like 3-4 scenes. This one’s worth your time.

    Was totally into this for the first 30 minutes until the story switches gears and takes a complete nosedive into boredom. You quickly realize that not much happened in the memoir that this is based on, and that not every book needs to be bought and adapted into an attempted awards contender.

    Technically astonishing, but lacking just a smidge in tension here and there. I don’t think people realize how hard it is to make a film like this, and the one take thing really enchanted the experience. When the big scenes hit, they really hit.
