Dan Holford’s review published on Letterboxd:
Another really great entry into this franchise. A big, bombastic blast of action that is once again stylish, well choreographed and always exciting to watch play out. Reeves is great, and there’s more for the side characters to do, especially Lance Reddick (RIP), who is really great here, with his calm persona perfectly clashing with the action scenes.
Again, the main story itself makes way for the action, but the lore building, and set up of this world is brilliantly handled. The action really is just so strong, so many stand out moments, from the library fight, the gun fight, and the overblown finale that whole long, doesn’t outstay its welcome.
I just feel like there’s plenty of originality to the action and set pieces to these films, alongside the world they have built, they’re just so damn entertaining.
