“You must choose between kindness for your kin, or hate for you enemies.”
Second best sword fight that takes place in a volcano. This movie was amazing, it felt a little long but I can’t imagine what would be cut out because every scene felt integral to the plot. Skarsgård and Taylor-Joy were incredible although I do wish Willam Dafoe was in more of this. I really liked the Bjork cameo as well. The cinematography was great and there were a couple long tracking shots with amazing choreography that really encapsulated the chaos of a village raid. The set locations were great, the writing and acting was great, the gore was great, everything was great.
Fuck the women who asked me not to sit in the same row as her because she “didn’t want to breath my air” and also fuck the guys who talked nonstop through the first half of the movie. If you’re that worried about getting Covid don’t go to a movie opening day during peak hours.
