The Little Mermaid 2023
truly mesmerizing from start to end. somehow they managed to elevate an already iconic film with lots of improvements. although a bit longer than it should’ve been, and with some minor narrative issues, it still prove itself to be a film full of love and passion. i was smiling wide since the hans christian andersen quote popped up and i knew immediately this story was in good hands. halle bailey is a treasure. incredible performance, amazing vocals; just wonderful. i am so glad she is the ariel new generations are going to recognize from now on.
