its been about 10 years since i saw this as a kid and in that time there were so many parodies and mock-ups made that it was kinda impossible for me to take this movie seriously anymore? and i couldnt tell some of the satire from intentional or unintentional cheesiness ... i loved this MUCH more on this watch, i loved the casting, the costumes, the cinematography. I forgot how well edited this is. Despite being praised, i still feel its underrated. Its so refreshing after knowing what happened with the horror genre through the entire 2000s and how lame it became, and how bland, but recently there has been horror moies exceeding scream in many ways, so i guess its a golden classic of the past now
