    Rewatched Finch with my dad who hadn’t seen it. This hits even harder. Tom Hanks, the dog and Caleb Landry Jones who voices Jeff are all fantastic.     Very mixed. 

    Bryan Cranston absolutely CARRIES this animated adaptation of Frank Miller’s iconic Batman: Year One. He is literally perfect casting. But on the other side, Ben McKenzie voices the caped crusader and is really bad. He’s not threatening at all and sounds nothing like Batman would. He delivers Frank Miller’s wonderful dialogue like he’s half asleep. It’s very distracting and takes me out of the movie. But the biggest problem with this adaptation…

    This movie is a masterpiece. It’s extremely memorable and really rewatchable. I could rewatch this right now. 

    This movie is horror. There are scary and horror elements in this film. But in my opinion, the scariest scene in the whole film is the ending between childs and mac ready. 

    It’s scary not because there are creatures or monsters or jumpscares. There’s none of that in the scene. 

    It’s two guys, paranoid, with no hope of survival and with no clue…
