Diogo Serafim’s review published on Letterboxd:
downbeat fulci at his most disgusting. a very particular film in his filmography narratively, very lovecraftian in how its loose, multiple narratives slowly start to entangle. expressive body horror has always been fulci's strong suit, and his seething gore is as violent as ever, with all his histrionic zooms and blatantly laborious visual dynamics. it's a weirdly desolate and unsettling experience.
