Dion Wyn’s review published on Letterboxd:
Jon Watts churned Far From Home into the chill pill we needed after Endgame. While the comedic tone made it feel like an 80's Summer vacation movie, but it does pack a decent punch at times. While some segments didn't work, a few odd emotional touches re-won me over. The illusion scenes are very impressive, the way it jumps around it becomes mesmerically nauseating. While Tom Holland is ever growing into the role of Peter Parker/Spider-Man, I was more impressed by Jakey G as Mysterio. Gyllenhaal was given more of a thought-provoking role than I originally planned. This MCU break is much needed for us all now!!!
