Part of Dastardly Difficult December: film nr.83
This unassuming children's tale about a young reindeer that has to overcome his vertigo so he can fly like his dad, who is a member of Santa's elite flying reindeer squad.
Simple enough Christmas fair that isn't special in any way, yet my daughter liked it a lot. She was cracking up the entire time and was hiding behind pillows with a big excited grin whenever the evil wolves showed up.
This film also sports a unique feature. The Dutch voice work, which usually is awful, was absolutely fantastic and even had me smiling a couple of times.
Not a very special film, but very good for its target audience. And that's what films like this are all about after all.
