"Do you think he plans it all out or just makes it up as he goes along?"
GOD, I DIDN'T KNOW THAT I WOULD BE CRYING MY HEART OUT TO THIS FILM.
That kid singing Hoist the Colors at the beginning reminds me of Gavroche from Lés Miserables, while the other pirates who joined him reminded me of Do You Hear The People Sing. This is by far Johnny Depp's best performance in this franchise due to the amount of Jacks he portrayed in his hallucinations. I have only watched a few films starring Keira Knightley, so her performance in here really stunned me. Elizabeth had the best character development among all of them– from being a damsel in distress to becoming a brave captain!
I will NEVER shut up about how the people behind this franchise really went all the way to come up with an editing like this! Calypsos' release and Beckett's death? I couldn't help but be in awe at how terrifyingly beautiful they are!!! The fight scenes were entertaining and giving me anxiety at the same time because of the massive maelstrom. Will and Elizabeth's love story might be one of the best things I have ever seen. Oh, to get married to the love of your life under a storm while in the middle of fighting your enemies together.
I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW THAT THIS FRANCHISE HAS POST-CREDIT SCENES UNTIL NOW. This film's scene made me cry even harder; I wish the Turner family nothing but pure love and happiness despite the shit that they have to go through.
That's it, this is my favorite part of the franchise so far. I'm still gonna be a coward to give this 5 stars, though. I can't wait for Jack's new mission/adventure once again.
