The Black Phone 2021
This was fun! Totally felt like a short story my college English teacher would've handed out to us.
A few parts here and there were a little silly, but overall GREAT atmosphere and performances from the main 2 kids and Ethan Hawke OF COURSE.
(also u can tell they wanted Jake Gyllenhaal to play Max SOOOO BAD)

Look man, I've been excited for this since the first teaser dropped in early 2020...and it was the exact glorious pile of trash I expected it to be!
The 2 end credits scenes killed the vibe for me but that's just because I'm sick of all the MCU tie-ins. This wasn't even the worst vampire movie I've ever seen!
