Disneybat21’s review published on Letterboxd:
Sharon Stone is absolutely stellar in this film, her complete and utter control of every room she is in makes Catherine Tramell a really fantastic villain. Michael Douglas also does a good job of playing the hard-ass cop who falls for the wrong woman; the intensity between Stone and Douglas is definitely palpable.
My biggest issue with this film is its use of the word "alibi." Writing a book in no way gives you an alibi and going after someone earlier in the day in no way gives you an alibi when that person died later that night, it infuriates me. For a bunch of individuals who are supposed to solve crimes every day, you'd think they knew what the words they use actually mean.
