Hideaki Anno's weakest work, and I'm not 100% sure why but maybe it has to do with how underwhelming and Anticlimactic the ending was of this. Everything is solved rather quickly and it felt too easy, it left me wanting more from it. I also enjoyed this the least out of his filmography (from what I've seen ofcourse)
Although i love Godzilla's design, the googly eye look is fucking adorbs omfg 🥺
