After Hours is a real gem hidden beneath Scorsese’s many classics. Everything connects and flows together so well to create a hell of a ride that’s always entertaining. The film seamlessly morphs between comedy, serious dramatic moments, and even mystery. Scorsese‘s direction and the strange characters create this off-kilter atmosphere that works perfectly with the story. I’m glad I finally watched this, as it’s one of Scorsese’s best in my opinion, and I wish it was talked about as much as some of his others.
