Jason Still’s review published on Letterboxd:
I admired The Florida Project more than I liked it. Fiercely and uncomfortably honest, it is beautifully photographed and by the end I felt like I was a resident of the motel. Dafoe’s Bobby, the kind and decent manager, does his best to make small differences to his vulnerable tenants’ lives; indeed, this film is ALL about the small things and they certainly steal the show.
The first entry on a new list: Films that probably need a second run to be fully appreciated!
