This was a hugely anticipated movie for me so expectations were high and after the opening song I was settling in for  a five star Carax masterpiece but after the following scene which was Driver performing on stage I thought otherwise. 
This was pretty much the same the the next two hours . Some of it was fantastic and I really enjoyed and other scenes I wasn’t as into . 
My favourite part was seeing Driver go down on Marion Cotillard twice which you have to respect . 
Drivers performance went hand in hand with the movie for me some of it I really liked and some of it I didn’t care for . 
Still this was a very big swing and something different which I’m always here for .
